In a new blog post, Activision confirms new
and updated playlists coming to Call of Duty: Modern Warfare in the
game's next update.
First off, Call of Duty: Modern Warfare is changing up the "1v1 Me Bro" playlist this week. Now when Modern Warfare players try the 1v1 mode, they will notice that radar is constantly activated, which should go a long way in cutting back on players just hiding the entire match.
Secondly, the Modern Warfare playlist update for this week is also bringing back regular 3v3 Gunfight. For the past week, 3v3 Gunfight has been replaced by a snipers-only variant of the game mode, with the more recent one making the mode exclusive to the fan favorite MW2 map Rust. The return of regular 3v3 Gunfight means Modern Warfare players will have a wider variety of Gunfight maps to battle it out on, including the first time that the Bazaar map has ever been available in 3v3 Gunfight.
Modern Warfare fans will note that Activision has made no mention of the game's rumored Warzone battle royale mode. Even though the Modern Warfare Warzone battle royale mode leaked weeks ago, both Infinity Ward and Activision have kept tight-lipped about it. Current theories point to Tuesday, March 3 or Tuesday, March 10 as possible Warzone release dates, though with no mention of the battle royale in the recent Activision blog post, fans shouldn't count on seeing the mode tomorrow.
Hopefully more information on the Modern Warfare Warzone battle royale mode comes sooner rather than later. In the meantime, Modern Warfare fans can check out the updated 1v1 Me Bro playlist as well as the returning 3v3 Gunfight.
