Bungie releases new details on some of the exotic weapons, armor, and rewards available through Destiny 2's Season of the Worthy pass.

On March 10, Destiny 2's Season of Dawn will officially come to an end, which means a new Season Pass will be available in about a week. In preparation for this, Bungie has teased some of the content that potential buyers can expect to receive through this pass, such as new exotic armor and weapons.

The poster weapon for this Season Pass is something called Tommy's Matchbook. Like previous poster Exotic Weapons, however, Bungie didn't reveal too many details about it, aside from the fact that it's an Exotic Auto Rifle. However, players with the Season Pass will be to retrieve the weapon the moment Season of the Worthy, goes live. So they'll be able to discover things about it earlier than those without the pass, who'll have to wait until achieving Rank 35 to grab it.

The pass will also grant players with five other weapons: four of them new, and one of them a returning exotic from Destiny 1. The four new weapons don't have any details available yet except for a picture showing them off. And from the looks of the image, pass owners can expect a new Sidearm, Grenade Launcher, Hand Cannon, and another Auto Rifle.

Fans may also be excited to hear that the 4th Horseman Exotic Shotgun will be returning. In Destiny 1, it was a full-auto shotgun that sometimes returned rounds to its magazine. At one point, it received a buff that allowed it to melt both raid bosses and guardians alike at the expense of low ammunition. It might help out with the upcoming Trails of Osiris, pending any new changes, of course

Moving away from the weapons, pass owners can also expect to receive the new Seasonal Armor called Seventh Seraph. This set will be available to all Destiny 2 players, but, like Tommy's Matchbook, pass owners will unlock it immediately. Otherwise, they'll earn the full set of the armor piece by piece until reaching Seasonal Rank 25.

Finally, pass owners will have access to all the usual pass bonuses, such as new triumphs, and bounties, along with seasonal lore books and rewards. They'll get a new exotic Emote, Ghost, ornament, and finisher, the last of which can possibly be glimpsed in the latest Season of the Worthy trailer. Buyers can also expect an XP boost that speeds up their Seasonal Ranks and Exotic Engram unlocks.
