Call of Duty: Modern Warfare Players Discover Invincibility Exploit in Giant Infection

Call of Duty: Modern Warfare players find a glitch in the game that allows players to become impervious to damage while still dealing damage.

Recently, Call of Duty: Modern Warfare players found a glitch allowing them to turn themselves invisible. Now, players have found another way to glitch out the game, this time making themselves immune from all damage.
The glitch only works on the Call of Duty: Modern Warfare map Aniyah Palace. In order to activate the glitch, players first travel to the upper left hand corner of the map. There, there is a sectioned off area covered in barbed wire which is supposed to be inaccessible. However if a player jumps onto a nearby wall and walks directly on top of this area, they can glitch into the terrain. Once glitched into the terrain players will be immune from damage, but still able to kill other players.

The glitch was discovered by a Reddit user on the Call of Duty: Modern Warfare subreddit, the same subreddit where the infinite shotgun ammo glitch was discovered. A representative from Infinity Ward commented on the post, acknowledging that the glitch exists, but offered no fix.

This glitch is relatively mild, especially for players who are playing regular Call of Duty game modes. The glitch locks exploiters into place, and Aniyah Palace is a relatively big map. This means that players who already know about the glitch can avoid the upper left corner of the map, and continue their game unbounded. It's certainly a less intrusive glitch than the one way glass glitch on the Tavorsk District map. However, this glitch is a massive problem for players playing the Infected game mode. In infected, one player starts as the zombie, only able to do combat damage, while all the other players, called survivors, have guns. When the infected player kills a survivor , that player becomes infected. If one of the survivors exploits this glitch, then the infected will be unable to kill the survivor, meaning the survivors are guaranteed to win the round. Exploiters have found ways to abuse glitches in the Infected mode before, which is incredibly frustrating for players who are trying to enjoy the more casual format.
Hopefully, Infinity Ward patches this glitch out of the game as soon as possible. While this isn't the worst glitch that has been found in Call of Duty: Modern Warfare, it can still be game-breaking, or at the very least deeply frustrating.
